In a Montessori classroom, kids learn not to turn to the teachers for answers. For guidance, of course. For support, most certainly. But bestowing the power to push through self-doubt, to grapple with doing things differently, and to develop the character to stand for what one believes is a gift even greater than sharing knowledge. So, as they grow, kids can shake up old modes of thinking and solve problems in ways previously undreamed of.
