Join MFS

Experiential education must be seen to be believed.

All families who are considering Montessori Family School are highly encouraged to visit in order to experience first-hand the school's programs, and meet the members of the MFS community. There is no substitute for witnessing our children actively taking on the school day.

Tours offer a wonderful opportunity to observe students and teachers in the classroom during a normal school day, whereas an open house takes place outside of school hours. During your tour or open house, we will introduce you to MFS, explain the application process, and answer any questions you may have. We hope you'll join us!

Financial Assistance

MFS believes that maintaining a diverse community is essential to creating a good learning environment, and seeks to build a school community that reflects the world outside the classroom.

While the principal responsibility for financing an independent school education lies with students’ families, MFS is able to offer tuition assistance for qualifying families.

MFS uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial assistance applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Based on the financial information you provide in the Parent Financial Statement (PFS), SSS provides an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses.

This estimate is a starting point and helps the School make fair and objective financial aid decisions.

Although the school is pleased to be able to offer financial assistance, not all families who qualify are guaranteed to receive it or to receive it to the full extent of their assessed need.
